Training Information

Josslyn offers professional, knowlegeable training techniques, quality care and gentle, progressive methods tailored to each individual horse. She also incorporates a variety of methods, including some Natural Horsemanship and basic classical dressage, but mostly focusing on safe and willing horses.

Josslyn specializes in pre-track training of Thoroughbred horses, taking special care to make sure each horse is prepared physically and mentally.She also works with off track Thoroughbreds, preparing them for new careers as eventers and hunter/jumpers. Having both pre-track experience as well as post-track experience provides her with a greater knowledge base in training these horses.

Josslyn is also knowlegeable in the specialized training of Paso Fino horses, the training of eventers, basic dressage, hunter/jumper and even some western. Each training program is tailored to the horses' owners goal for them, whether they want a quiet trail horse, or competitive show mount. Josslyns' knowledge of Equine Massage is also an asset for horses' in need of rehabilitation due to injuries and layoff's.

Training board is available at several different farms in the Quinte area. As well, freelance training may be a possibility depending on location. Very reasonable rates available monthly or per session. Please contact for more information.
