Josslyn Cousins has been working with my horses for the past two years. She has started an older stallion, a barely touched gelding and younger stock. She has a quiet way about her that the horses respond to. She is firm, consistent and not easily intimidated, and handles all situations in a calm manner.

Josslyn has started several horses for us over the past couple of years. From spring training of the older horses, and ground training and breaking of the babies. Josslyn has the patience and demeanor to handle each horse with kindness and firmness when necessary. She has a quiet way of handling, especially our babies, that makes them respond very positively. Our 3 1/2 year old Arabian filly went from groundword to riding without batting an eye. Each session is individual and always ends on a positive note.
As we have several babies, we expect to keep Josslyn coming here for a good long time and we would recommend her quite highly to anyone.

Time: All of us wish we had more of it. When it comes to horses, it takes time to establish a good foundation and of equal importance is the maintenance of it.
If you are looking for something to start your young colt/filly, or tune up your older model, I highly recommend that you call upon Josslyn. Her quiet easy way with horses is all natural. She is firm yet kind, there is no force or bullying. The end result is a confident, well disciplined horse that can be taken to the trail or the show ring.
